FKT: Ine Simons - Trois-Ponts ExtraTrail Black Route (Belgium) - 2024-05-04

My final dressrehearsal for UltraTrail des Alsace by UTMB. I had to take a little detour between km 5 and 8 because of agricultural works, luckly the total km's and elevation gains remain the same. It is a beautiful route but I was worried because of heavy rainfalls in the days prior, but luckly the route was mostly runable. The steep descents between km 25 and 30 were manageable in the mud, but in wetter conditions, it's a deathtrap.

Editor: We do accept detours due to forest work or other obstacles. In this case the detour is slightly shorter, has less elevation and is less technical, so the FKT was flagged to remind that a similar time on the correct route will suffice.
