Brittany Peterson and I (Cody Lind) ran from the Southern Terminus to the Northern Terminus on the Superior Hiking Trail. This was an overall FKT as well as both an overall male and female FKT. We began at 9:00 AM CT on Wednesday June 17th. We were supported along the way by our crew who documented in/out times at our aid stations and our "overnight" sections for longer breaks (pictures uploaded of these).
Began Section 1 Wednesday June 17th at 9:00 AM at Southern Terminus and ran to Normanna Road (mile 61.6), finishing at 10:01 pm.
Began Section 2 Thursday June 18th at 3:18 AM and ran to Lax Lake Road Trailhead (mile 135.6), finishing here at 11:34 pm.
Began Section 3 Friday June 19th at 4:08 AM and ran to Cook County Road 1 (mile 191.2), finishing here at 10:23 pm.
Began Section 4 Saturday June 20th at 1:16 AM and ran to Lindskog Road (mile 252.3), finishing here at 10:27 pm.
Began Section 5 Sunday June 21st at 1:03 AM and finished at the Northern Terminus (mile 297.8), with a finish time at 6:27.18 pm
Total time being 105:27'18 or 4 days, 9 hours, 27 minutes, 18 seconds.
