On July 10, I ran the entire 40.4 mile Greenstone Ridge Trail on Isle Royale, unsupported, from the Washington Creek Trail to the Hidden Lake/Lookout Louise Trail in 8 hours, 47 minutes and 36.90 seconds. Based on my research, I have now have run this trail faster than anyone else, ever.

While I am not going to call this record soft, it is totally beatable; I even mention how I think it can be done! It certainly won't be by me as I have made my peace with the island and despite having a great adventure, it is time to let someone else give it a shot!
