I did the Beaten Path July 24, 2021 from East Rosebud Lake uphill gaining 4,961ft in 27.9 miles finishing at Cooke City Clark Fork Trailhead. I started around 7am and finished a little over 6 hours later. It was about 65 degrees at the start and 86 degrees at the finish. Water crossings were low this year. Last year I did the downhill version and had to go the other direction it was so pretty. Amazing views and one of the most scenic runs in Montana.
