My second attempt at the Patapsco FKT, after the first lead me through a toxic waste/raw sewage wasteland. I did the majority of the route as posted previously, but added more trails in the Avalon area, to avoid the last few miles on the BGE access road. I had planned it to finish outside the Guinness Brewery, which was a great idea until I got there and found the entire property was fenced in with razor wire. I'd recommend not trying to climb the fence. Other than that, it was a beautiful day along the Patapsco. I ran the entire distance solo, with everything I needed in my pack. I was definitely on the last sip of water by the time I finished. Likely would have needed more water had it been a warmer day. I'll definitely run it again.
