An unexpectedly warm day made this attempt a bit tougher than we wanted, but otherwise we're fairly happy with how it went. Using the map of the route and taking into consideration the previous comments, we decided to start an finish at the Fire station in Woburn. The car park in town isn't actually on the route, but is good place to park and base yourself for the walk/run. The route itself was runnable the entire way except one field where it was suggested it went straight diagonally across rather than round. This may have slowed us down as it was thigh deep plants and uneven ground and we struggled to get going for a while afterwards! The longer route around the edge of the field may actually be quicker. All in all a great route although our ability to actually name the 7 parishes as we went around was suffering at points!
