FKT: Sammie Lewis - Uncompahgre & Wetterhorn (CO) - 2020-08-14

Soaked up the last of the clean air before the wildfire smoke came in. Saw very few people on the way up to Wetterhorn. Route finding slowed down a little but overall it's a pretty intuitive scramble. Lots of signs of the meadow being closed for restoration so double back down on the trail to head to Uncompaghre. Ran into the front of the pack of the High Five 100 on the way up Uncompaghre. Spent a little time at the summit and then headed back to the car (and to cheer on the race runners more).
