I had a go at the Quellenweg FKT as the first longer run this year. Arriving (and leaving) by train in Bad Breisig the sometimes sparsely marked trail took on a beautiful round-trip through the hills along the Rhine. Weather was near perfect: dry and sunny conditions while still being rather cool (less than 10°C). There are some sections between Brohl and Bad Breisig where the trail is somewhat rough with many fallen trees and branches. For supplies I just had some fruit and water with me.
