Description

Federation Peak is a prominent mountain that is part of the Arthur Range, located in the Southwest National Park, in the south-west region of TasmaniaAustralia. The peak, approximately 90 kilometres (56 mi) south-west from Hobart, was named after the Federation of Australia.

With an elevation of 1,224 metres (4,016 ft) above sea level,[1] the peak is often described as one of the hardest Bushwalking challenges in Australia.

Start at Farm House Creek trail head, via Picton Saddle and Moss ridge to Summit of Fed Peak - return same trail.
