The Hurwal Divide is a ridgeline connecting Sacajawea and Matterhorn peaks to Chief Joseph Mountain in the Wallowas of Oregon. This route gains the ridgeline at Sacajawea, and stays there until Chief Joseph, starting and ending at the Hurricane Creek Trailhead.
The distance and gain numbers are approximately 18 miles/8300 feet +/-, but those will depend on your exact routefinding along the ridge and on the way down from Chief Joseph back down to the trail.
