Description

The Dartmoor National Park covers 368 square miles, and there are many options for running in that area. One option is to run all the way across, and an obvious way to do that is using the Two Moors Way (https://twomoorsway.org/about-the-route/). The TMW goes from Ivybridge to Lynmouth, passing through Exmoor and Dartmoor, and this route is the section that is included within the Dartmoor National Park, a 36 miles route. It goes past several of the interesting features of Dartmoor - Castle Drogo and the river Teign, Bennetts Cross, Grimspound Prehistoric Settlement, Hameldown summit, the Red Lake tramway and many more.
