Submitted by Dylan Cotton on Thu, 03/05/2026 - 02:14am
Description

The Wai'anae Summit Trail (WST) follows the spine of the Wai'anae Range along the western side of O'ahu, creating one of the island's longest and demanding ridge traverses. The route runs roughly the length of the range, linking multiple summits and narrow ridgelines while staying almost entirely on the spine of the mountains. The route contains a combination of exposure and terrain variety across the entire traverse. Including long knife-edge ridges, steep choss climbs, and sections where ropes assist hikers over particularly steep or eroded terrain.

Traverse Forêt Montmorency to Mont-Saint-Anne (QC, Canada)

Submitted by Philippe Bégin on Mon, 03/02/2026 - 09:03pm
Description

The start is at the main cross-country skiing parking lot at Forêt Montmorency and the finish is at Rang Saint-Julien (at the entry gate). You will travel through the Seigneurie de la Côte-de-Beaupré, also known as the Terres du Séminaire, along this route.

The trail is generally clear, except for two sections:

  1. At approximately 2.5 km, you must cross a river.

  2. Around 9 km, there is a very old suspension bridge that must be used. Please use caution in this area.

The remainder of the route follows a long gravel road.
