Description

This is the trail run variant of the classic ski tour around the Sella Massif.  The trail runs through the towns of Selva, Corvara, Arabba and close to Canazei allowing to start in any of these villages. Best of all, it's a Marathon distance !

I started an attempt at the end of September, but unfortunately had to hike from the halfway point because of knee issues. Maybe next year I'll try again.
Information about the route: Route is easy to find and can be run quite fast, as there are few trails and lots of forest roads. The ski infrastructure detracts from the scenic experience. The downhill from Passo Gardena to Alta Badia is currently not runnable, most part of the section is closed due to flood damage and reconstructions. At the Dantercepies and Campologno uphills, you have to cross meadows in places - perhaps there used to be paths here, but not at present, which may not be entirely conducive to nature conservation. The part between Alta Badia and Arabba is, in my opinion, the hardest part of the route, uphill and downhill very steep, so I would recommend not to start Arabba having this part for the finish ;) I started in Lupo Bianco and it was perfect for the sunrise, highly recommended.
