This route is part of the Ridge Runner trail system, and this loop is a highlight of running in the area.

As with all loop FKTs, it can be started at any point and run in either direction. The recommended start/finish is at the Noblett Lake Recreation Area, in the parking lot where the old beach/swimming area used to be. There is a day-use pavilion, as well as indoor vault toilets. Expect punchy climbs and descents, along with rocks, roots, and water crossings... typical Ozarks trail running! These are multi-use trails so you may see folks on horseback.

I'm going to attempt to establish an FKT on this route either on Saturday 3-7-26 or Sunday 3-8-26. Will depend on how the rain/thunderstorms look later in the week.

Made an attempt today 3-7-26 at 11:11 AM. Tried to time it right between rain storms and Spring Creek was just way to swift and deep for my comfort today. Fired up and going to make another attempt soon.
