The Peak Wesley Way is a continuous self-guided pilgrimage from Matlock to Edale.
Starting in the spa town of Matlock, the route journeys north from the gentle landscapes of the White Peak to the more austere terrain of the Dark Peak. Along the way, it passes through some of England’s most breathtaking natural scenery, while following a landscape shaped by generations of farmers, industrialists and travellers who have trodden these paths before.
The pilgrimage concludes in the village of Edale in the Hope Valley, having taken you through a changing landscape of limestone dales, moorland, valleys and high ridges.
