Went en-route the previous day - 06 July 2020 and placed a bag with food and boots in the bushes near Dhundhi bridge. Started off from the end of mall road, Manali (India flag post) at 3 am. Reach friendship peak solo. Ridge from where the other side of the valley is visible. Down and back to Manali.

Drank water from flowing streams on the way. Carried food all along. No crampon, no Ice-axe. Used a pair of leki micro-vario hiking poles only (one broke before the summit)

A stray dog followed me to the summit.

Have time stamped photos of start, summit and finish.
