FKT: Kathleen Cusick - Appalachian Trail: Lehigh Gap to Delaware Water Gap (PA) - 2021-04-18

Don't be fooled -this section of the AT, from Lehigh Gap to the PA/NJ line, is posted as 35.5, and my distance was 36.6 - because I realized I dropped something from my pack during the Wind Gap segment (~9 miles to go), turned around and ran back looking for it, and then said "Kathleen, you need to turn around now!" hence the extra  mileage :) Another segment of the AT in PA done. I loathe the Wind Gap section, though it is closest to my parents house, but love the DWG :) I dropped aid at the Wind Gap road crossing - sadly, there was a huge deer that had been hit right at you exit the trail :( I ran by myself the entire time, encountered quite a few hikers in the DWG. Overall, another ricky but beautiful section.
