GR 20 en 35h50'40''
An incredible, mythical course... The northern part of the GR20 is sublime, ultra technical and mineral. After a first insular ascent, we enter an alpine world, chaotic of an incredible beauty. The cirque of the Solitude, obligatory passage of the record, is very impressive, as technical as sublime. Change of scenery, more bucolic, at the lake of Nino, where the horses mingle with the green meanders of the pozzines. My favorite part is the ridge above the Restonica valley and the Capitelu lakes until the Petra Piana refuge. The southern part is less alpine and chaotic but just as beautiful. Two highlights: The ridge between Prati and Usciulu then the Aiguilles de Bavella. A GR of great beauty, as technical as sublime!
