Set out this morning with a training run in mind for my upcoming 100 miler. Plan was to just listen to my body and go with the flow. I knew that this was an FKT route going into it but wasn't planning on trying for it. When I realized how good of a pace I was keeping I decided to push to see if I could grab it. The trails were beautiful and the leaves are changing colors. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day out on the trails.
There is definitely a lot of time that could be shaved off of this and I definitely look for it to happen in the near future.
This is awesome! Really impressive pace on those trails. I’m hoping to run this route next weekend (female, self-supported) - did you use the gpx of the route on your watch to navigate? Or were you able to follow long without it? Any other tips are welcome :)
