FKT: Aaron Long, Ellie Hands - Suiattle Crest Loop (WA) - 2024-09-28

Ellie and I were looking into a big day in this area for a while and realized there was an FKT for the loop we wanted to do. With no mixed-gender FKT for the route we wanted to submit something so people can feel inspired to go after it and enjoy this beautiful area. The day went pretty smoothly for the first 28 miles. The colors were amazing and we kept a chill and sustainable pace. After a lovely swim and hang at Lyman lake we took a wrong turn and had a fun 2 mile out and back. The final 13 miles were a bit of a suffer fest but that is also what we were hoping for. A truly fulfilling day that left us tired yet eager to give the route another more dialed go
