Grabbed this FKT back in May. Used to be on my Strava, but I deleted my account. Took advantage of the cool weather window we had going into Memorial Day weekend. Sent it the previous weekend for 59:20, but my watch died. I returned on Memorial Day morning to get the FKT again, this time knocking almost two minutes off the time.
Morning was overcast and the trail was dry. But just to give me some extra confidence, I put on my Speedland GS:SLVT’s to make sure I maintained traction the whole climb. Made it to the summit in 34:20, then powered my way back down in 57:29. In my journal that day I wrote I did it in 57:16, but I’ll stick to the Garmin verified time of 57:29.
