Started at 5 am from Richmond. The July heat proved challenging but I had a stellar crew keeping me cool and hydrated. I received aid every 3-5 miles on the way to Williamsburg and every 2-3 miles on the return. These were mostly to switch bottles and put ice in my bandana/hat. I had longer aid stops in Charles City and at the turnaround. I had pacers from mile 36 to the end. My crew worked so hard and was absolutely phenomenal.
