Set off early Easter Sunday from Birmingham Gas Street Basin. The run went well, with a few fallen trees to climb over and nasty 15 MPH headwind the whole way. There was a small detour to reach the last lock in Diglis Marina Worcester. The run was fuelled by SIS beta fuel gels every 4 miles . I carried my own water, using a hand held soft flask.
