2025 was a big year in terms of mileage volume and I was still holding onto some fitness heading into the holidays. Glad I found this awesome route for one more rip!
Had a ton of support from my pacers and family at the finish. Felt good towards the end and was able to finish strong. Could not have run 6:17 without them!!
Truly an awesome route, good navigability despite the expansive route system in the area. Got off route only very briefly (.2mi) and backtracked at Alexander Lake, thankfully my pacer noticed quickly that were going the wrong way. The path is super flowy with beautiful scenery and lots of deer. Easy to get into a flow when running this path.
