Completed on a cloudy and cool day in July, average temp 74 deg F. Started around 7am. Completed this supported with a family member dropping me off at the start and meeting me every 5-7 miles to refill water and fuel. If doing this unsupported there is not water to filter until McConnells state park. Trail was very well maintained and in great condition despite a couple of downed trees. Did not get technical until the state park for a few miles, otherwise most of the trail was pretty runnable. A lot of rollers and vertical changes but no terrible climbs until the last 1.5 mile. Gear included a Salomon 12 liter vest, 2 500mL flasks, garmin fenix pro 6s watch. Definitely bring bug spray if you’re completing this in the warmer months. Felt great to splash some water in my face once I reached the state park. Consumed 1780 calories and 4.7 liters of hydration. Great section of the north country trail and I definitely recommend getting out there!
