Hi everyone,
Adrien Tarenne and I completed the FKT unsupported this past Saturday. The time given corresponds to that recorded by Adrien on his Suunto watch. I hit stop on my Coros just before reaching the plaza in Vézelay.
The route is great and we encourage everyone to give it a try. The scenery is varied with sections in and around the vineyards, along the river, through nice villages, farmland, and moss-covered forests.
We managed on two liters of water which was just enough. We got lucky as it was cloudy and cool until the last hour. The final climb to Vézelay feels never ending :-)
