Blazing hot day; shorts and t-shirt at 6200 feet above sea level. Set of on the first uphill taking it easy and then tore into the descent. The technical sections slow you down a bit as a slip would see a fall that could be fatal. The path through the forest is a thrilling set of switchbacks but the uphills are draining after the speed of the descent. All-in-all, a fantastic day on an exciting route.
