Arlington County Boundary. Did this on 4 April 2026 but now notice an fkt page has been set up for this route so submitting this on 22 Jul 2026. Potomac Heritage Trail is by far the most challenging section of this route due to varying terrain and some steep climbs. Otherwise, the route goes by quick though since you’re switching streets almost every block.
Technically this was a self supported effort since I filled up from a water fountain in the South Block on N Westmoreland Street, but otherwise brought all food and supplies needed and ran this solo.

Strava activity shows little over 30 miles but that includes about an extra 1-1.25 mi that I took to run from my apartment to the start of Mount Vernon Trail/Potomac Heritage Trail junction.
