The Capital City Trail is a shared-use path in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, which circles the city centre and some inner eastern and northern suburbs. It is 29km in length and mostly consists of sections of other trails, such as the Merri Creek Trail, Main Yarra Trail, Moonee Ponds Creek Trail and Inner Circle Rail Trail.
I started the route at Princes Bridge near Flinders Street Station and then proceeded in an anti-clockwise direction on the route. I ran solo and used the water fountains on route to hydrate. I missed a few turns where the route was not well marked and GPS routing was a slow but quickly found my way again.
Great route and looking forward to doing it again soon.
