Ran with a friend for the first 20miles then went ahead on my own. Lots of running streams along the way to refill water, packed enough calories for the journey. Felt great entire way. It was super hot in the last few hours. Jumped in a cold river after. My friend Karen ran the course as well in a personal best time of 7:57. We celebrated by dunking our legs in the cold river at the end.
