Started around 6:30 a.m. with 2 flasks (1 water and 1 tailwind) and 3 gels, energy chews, some potato chips, and 10 electrolyte tablets. I was dripping almost immediately from the humidity so the electrolyte tablets went pretty quick.
Not the muddiest I've seen on Cannon so that was a plus! Stopped at the river after South Kinsman to filter water and then again at the waterfall since I knew that would be the last opportunity. Despite filling twice I still ran out of water with 4.5 miles left (IT WAS SO HOT OUT).
The consistent up and down is not my forte so can't say I'll be ripping this again any time soon, plenty of time to be had on this though!
