Report

First time doing this route and it was an absolute mud pit! Several areas were completely flooded, causing 6 river crossings. I ran with just my vest packed with 2 water flasks and 5 gels.

I ran up Rim and was greeted with a raging water crossing within the first several feet. My boyfriend who was running around the area (though not with me) extended his hand to me so my shoes would be a little less wet. I then went down Newbury (mud pit), left on Lake Ave, right on Route 103, behind Bubbas to the Concord&Claremont trail, right onto Mountain Road, right onto Andrew Brook (again very flooded crossing). At the crossing I accidentally took a left down the Monadnock/Sunapee but quickly realized and backtracked to take the right turn then left back onto Newbury. Straight up to Sunapee Summit Trail and down to the lodge (very slippery rocks coated in mud) where I passed my boyfriend and he snapped a picture of me and cheered me on. Province to Old Province rd, Brook Rd, left on Goshen which was an absolute river the entire trail. On Goshen I ended up off trail and had to back track which cost me nearly 25 minutes :(. Right back onto Solitude and straight back down Newbury to Rim where I ran straight through the river crossing since I was already soaked and coated in mud.
