This was my third time running all five peaks in Mission Trails, but this time I followed the "official" course starting at the Colina Dorada trailhead and hitting South Fortuna, North Fortuna, Kwaay Pay and the crossing to the other "half" of the park to finish with Cowles, Pyles and back down to the Cowles trailhead to finish it off. While I planned to do a water stop half way, it was cool enough to just carry all the water for the run. Perfect start to the holiday!

Where can I find info on the "official" route? I did the 5-peak challenge, but on a different route and trying to find if my go at it can be deemed to compete with this. Thank you for putting this up. https://www.strava.com/activities/3184165320/overview
I based the route on the description in the book "Afoot & Afield - San Diego County." Not sure how "official" it is, but it is a point-to-point route that starts from the Colina Dorada trailhead and ends at the Cowles Mountain trailhead at the intersection of Navajo Road and Golfcrest Drive.
