This is an Out and Back of the Pacific Palisades to Tarzana route. I followed the one way suggested by Mitchell Price and Christopher Heisen as best I could, though it appears I started at a slightly different trailhead. I found the route to be just under 11 miles, not 14, but I'm unclear where we differed. Looking over both our routes, they appear fairly similar.
My route also took: Temescal Canyon Trail -> Temescal RidgeTrail -> Backbone Trail -> Temescal Fire Road -> Mulholland Drive -> Caballero Canyon Trail.
After hitting Reseda Blvd in Tarzana I turned around and took the same trails back, just in reverse (Caballero Canyon Trail>Mulholland Drive>Temescal Fire Rd> Backbone Trail> Temescal Ridge Trail> Temescal Canyon Trail.
I started and finished at the trailhead just off Sunset Blvd.
It's a super fun out and back with a good mix of single track at both ends and easy fire road in the middle. The trails can get crowded nearer the trailheads and I had my mask for safety.
