June 16-18th I ran the Tip to Tip Confederation Trail across PEI. I am from PEI but now live in Nova Scotia, and wanted to do a big run across my home province to celebrate my 40th birthday. I was supported by my husband, my two daughters, and parents along the way. I had many people come to run parts of the trail with me including some friends from Nova Scotia and many runners from PEI that I hadn't met before but were incredible in coming out to support me and share many many miles. This rail trail was beautiful, in fantastic condition and was a great way to see the Island. The weather was great (cool and dry) the first day and night, through the second night some heavy rain and wind came through. All in all, it was an incredible experience and I highly recommend!
