On August 14, 2017, Allison Macsas and Mallory Brooks broke the speed record for the fastest females to run the Wonderland Trail (95 miles) around Mount Rainier, unsupported. The accomplished their goal of running it under 30 hours with a time of 29 hours, 12 minutes and 25 seconds. Almost 2 hours faster than the previous record held by Candice Burt.
