We went with the traditional Pitchell start time of 12:01 am on Sunday, September 6th. We had amazing weather and enjoyed the great views this route offers. The first 7 hours in the dark slowed down the descent time a bit, but the whole day was beautiful and uneventful but fun. Enjoyed the easy ability for frequent crew stops.
