Training for some mountain races, so tried this FKT out which is close to home. Saturday January morning, hardly saw anyone else, especially since we started in the dark. My friends Oscar and Jennifer supported me and we had beautiful views of frozen Saugatuck and an icy Lake Michigan from Mt. Baldhead. I took a lot of pictures and took my time, so someone else should come and try it out for a new female FKT. Stairs were not slippery and I took the advice on the site of going a little farther than the stairs and did record the entire vertical kilometer on my watch. My calves were sore the next day, but overall, it was fun.
