Day before the run: planted food/water along the course, stashed in woods. (Hard to actually find the next day... I hid the stuff too well)
Morning of run: parked (illegally) at Eastern Terminus. First few miles I ruminated about car being towed. (Car did not get towed)
During run: made several wrong turns (& missed turns) despite having run it previously. Saw almost no one on the trail. (Had conversations with myself)
Near the end of the run: was becoming frantic that my watch was going to die. (Incentive to run faster.)
Primary nutrition: pirogies, Cheetos, Doritos, gatorade (and water).
Note: I ran the Murray Hill Road reroute. This is an in-progress trail relocation project, but was flagged well enough that it was easy to follow. It is estimated that the reroute will add a half of a mile to the course.
