We started at the Gate on Sisar Rd. ran up Sisar (fire road) past two creek crossings until the turn off for Red Reef (single track, moderately technical) ran up Red Reef until we got to Nordoff Ridge rd. We then ran to the gate that turns into the wilderness towards Hines peak, we turned around there and found the unmarked trail to the right that heads up to Topatopa Bluff. Topatopa Bluff trail is very steep and we found ourselves on hands at feet for about a half mile scramble. There were amazing views as we were above the clouds and could see Cheif peak in the distance. On a clear day we would have have a view of the pacific and the Channel Islands. We finally made it to the bluff and took in the views from there. We then ran down the same way we came to finish out this Amazing out and back 15ish mile adventure!
