Started at 6:36am at the Port of Manoc-Manoc just as the sun was rising. There were fishermen going out for their first catch of the day. I found a spot to start with my foot at the edge of the water before starting my run on the soft sand.
I headed towards the road and turned right to Boracay Jetty Port Road. It's a small town with lots of little stores and you'll find houses lining the side of the road. There's some downhill parts here and you might have to be careful avoiding trucks and motorbikes.
It'll start to curve left onto Boracay Highway S to the Boracay Rotunda where I make a right to Boracay Highway Central. Once on this road I go straight for about 3.1km passing through the main commercial area of Boracay called D'mall where there's even a big "Boracay" sign.
I keep going as the road starts to curve upward and hit a few more hilly paths that curve left and right. Here's where I start needing water so I find the nearest little store and get myself a bottle of water and finish it before heading back out to continue my run.
I reach the town of Yapak and make a left towards a road heading for Puka Beach passing a local school and another small town at the top of the island. And I finally end my run 1 hour and 23 minutes later with my foot at the edge of the water with the sun shining over head.
