Matt and I ran from the Wire Pass trailhead through Buckskin Wash and down Paria Canyon to Lee's Ferry in a total time of 8:30:45. We stopped the watch at the same bridge over the Paria River that Aurélien used as his finish line. All in all an incredible route. Still lots of room for improvement. We made a wrong turn approaching Buckskin Gulch from the Wire Pass trailhead, spent a fair amount of time at a slow flowing spring that was just a few miles upriver from a gusher, and got stuck in some quicksand for a few minutes. I'm really excited to see what other folks can do on this thing. Thanks!
