Went NOBO. The route connects nicely through greenspace up to the Teltowkanal (km 10), then transitions to a major bike path through Berlin Südkreuz before zig-zagging through urban parks with traffic lights across Mitte. Once you hit the Spree (km 21), the route winds through back alleys with some sections closed due to construction but past Invalidenstraße it picks up the Panke, leading into a long stretch of connected parks. Despite a few major road crossings, you can finally find a good rhythm even in the heart of the city. The route continues through Pankow and returns to proper greenspace after Pasewalker Straße (km 32).
The highlights are definitely the first and last 10 km—that's where you get a better taste of nature.
