FKT: Annie Myrvang - Mailbox Peak (WA) - 2021-05-22

Super fun day on Mailbox Peak! It was very crowded (Saturday was the only day I could make this route work) but people couldn’t have been nicer and even cheered and gave me encouragement. Was such a beautiful day on a lovely route. The descent on the talus field was challenging but the last three miles on the smooth trails were so dang fun! Staying on the new trail was a tiny bit confusing on the descent. I took a wrong turn and started going down the old trail and had to backtrack. Would love to come back and try to get closer to the men’s time. For another trip to the PNW!
