A beautiful route! I had never done this trail before (I usually get to Black Mountain from the much higher Monte Bello parking lot), and I loved the scenery—bright green oaks and tiny wildflowers on the day I ran it. I didn't exactly set a blistering pace, but I did notice no other women have submitted an FKT on this route, and I figured someone should be on the board. :)
