I started from Reith at 4:30 am and needed the headtorch until just after Nördlinger Hütte. On the way up it was a very slight rainy drizzle, but wasn't cold at all. Reached Solsteinhaus without meeting a single person and proceeded until Frau Hitt Sattel. I struggled a bit with route finding up to Frau Hitt as well as in the downhill/traverse part to Seegrube and lost some time there but eventually managed :) when I reached Hafelekar I knew I would have to try to go the whole way as I knew I had already finished most of the climbing. Really suffered on the long way back to Scharnitz in the end but I guess that's part of the game
I refilled at the huts with water and carried gels as well as one flask filled to the brim with carbmix that I used to refill. Shoes were Adidas Terrex Agravic 4 which I found very suitable for the technical terrain.
Fun day out all in all, and obviously proud of the result :)
