Started in Garden Plain bright and early. I cleared all the spider webs with my face. Stopped at the public restroom in Linear Park in Goddard to take care of my morning bathroom business and re-filled my water bottle in the gnarly sink in the bathroom. Continued on, wound through Air Capital Park, piddled through the short sandy part east of Hoover and touched the sign at the end of the trail before the railroad tracks and turned around. Somewhere in area after Air Capital park I stopped and got my extra gatorade out of the back of my pack and popped my earbuds in for some music. The trip back was uneventful other than another pit stop in the Linear Park bathroom in Goddard before knocking down the last 6 miles. I saw other runners, walkers, and bicyclists along the way. I was very happy to stop running when I hit the sidewalk on 295th street in Garden Plain and stopped my watch and walked to the van which I had parked north of the trailhead in a park.
