We set out to tackle the Mount Süphan route together with my friends Arif Deniz, Agit Ömer Işıklı, and Tolga Yazlık. We started our ascent from the foothills of the mountain, near the village of Kışkılı, at exactly 01:56 AM.
The night conditions were extraordinary; we began our climb under the bright moonlight, which illuminated the trail so well that we progressed without even needing to turn on our headlamps. We stuck strictly to the planned route, navigating the scree and rocky sections at a good, steady pace. Overall, we didn't struggle much on the terrain and felt strong throughout the effort. It was a remarkably smooth and highly enjoyable fastpack/run on this beautiful mountain with a great team.
