FKT: Atte Koskivaara, Timo Veirto - Kaakkurinkierros - 2023-07-19

We had a great weather during the run with about +20 degrees. Our equipment included small running backpacks with some energy gels and water.

The route does have (at least) three wells where you could get drinking water but we managed with our own supplies.

In Kaakkurinkierros you have to cross a narrow  (~40 meters) lake where there is a small raft which you have to manually move. In our run we had to wait for about 5 minutes because the raft was in use.

We started and ended the route under the main gate for Kaakkurinkierros (starting from Lapinsalmi parking lot).
