Iron Mountain from Heaton Falls Trailhead. About 1:36 to the summit. Took in the view and snapped a couple photos for a couple of minutes before descending. Roundtrip was 2:51.37. Only the smallest patches of snow at the summit.
Definitely more juice to squeeze out of this FKT - both on the ascent and descent. Ended up walking a good amount of the steep parts and playing it safe on the downhill sections. The loose rock and sand were a bit intimidating and I just wanted to make it down without twisting an ankle or falling off the side of the mountain, lol.
